How to scan a document to PDF

It works in the browser, so there's no app to install and no account to create.
How are the photos processed?
Photos are sent to our server, turned the right way up using their orientation data and, depending on your choice, converted to grayscale with boosted contrast and sharpening, or kept in color with improved contrast. Each image becomes one page, in the order you set.
The PDF contains images of your pages, not text. To make it searchable, run the result through OCR PDF. Photos are deleted once the PDF is created.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the best scan?
Lay the page flat in good, even light, hold the phone straight above it and fill the frame with the document. Avoid shadows and glare.
Which enhancement should I use?
Document works best for printed or handwritten text on paper. Color keeps photos, stamps and colored ink. None leaves your images exactly as taken.
Can I search the text in my scan?
Not straight away, because the pages are images. Run the PDF through OCR PDF to add a searchable text layer.
What happens to my photos?
They're deleted from our server as soon as the PDF is built. The PDF can be downloaded for 30 minutes and is then deleted automatically, or you can delete it right away.
