How to merge PDF files

One file instead of many
Sending a contract with its appendices, a report with its attachments or a stack of scanned receipts is easier when everything lives in one PDF. Recipients open a single file, scroll through it in order and nothing gets lost along the way.
PDFacile keeps things simple: no account, no installation, and each file can be up to 100 MB. Your uploads are removed right after the merge, and the finished PDF is deleted when its download link expires.
How does merging PDFs work?
Our server reads each PDF you upload and copies its pages, one file after another, into a brand-new document in exactly the order you arranged. Pages are copied as they are, so text, images and vector graphics keep their original quality.
Document-level extras such as bookmarks (outlines) and interactive form fields from the source files are not carried over. The content of every page stays the same.
Frequently asked questions
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
You need at least two files. Each one can be up to 100 MB, and you can reorder them freely before merging.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password first with our Unlock PDF tool, then come back and merge the unlocked copy.
Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?
No. The pages themselves are copied without any change, but bookmarks and fillable form fields from the original files are not included in the merged PDF.
What happens to my files after merging?
The PDFs you uploaded are deleted as soon as the merge finishes. The merged file stays available for 30 minutes so you can download it, and you can delete it earlier with the Delete now button.
